Speaking as a brother I think you should go for it. If there was anything negative that they think about you they probably would have brought it up. I know also that a good reason why bids aren’t given out isn’t because of negative or positive views they just want to see you give a good effort in getting to know the brothers. I’d like to hear Square’s reasoning behind making Theatrhythm a 3DS exclusive, considering FF hit it’s heights mainly on playstation. Surely it should have been on the Vita as well. I’m beginning to lose all respect for them tbh.

yes, because selling on 2 systems at the same time wouldn’t be more profitable..
and both have buttons and a touch screen, anything one can do the other can do too.

no it wouldn’t be profitable considering how much more money it would cost to produce the game on 2 systems and considering how many consoles 3ds and vita have sold. You’re right, they both have touch screens and buttons but for the control scheme they wanted, which is using the touch screen for the rhythm and everything, if it was on the vita where the main screen is the touch screen you would never be able to see the actual battle and fights since your fingers would always be in the way.
